Courses on high temperature corrosion
HTC organizes a course on the materials science of high-temperature corrosion and oxidation. The course is designed for PhD students from physics, chemistry and engineering, as well as for researchers and engineers from industry.
The course includes lectures, lab classes and exercises. The lectures are presented by researchers active within HTC and by invited speakers, representing top researchers in the field. In the past, Per Kofstad, Ian Wright, John Stringer, Hans Jurgen Grabke have been invited lectures. Last course, John Nicholls from Cranfield University in the UK was the invited lecturer. The seven courses given so far have had an average attendance of 23 students, with equal numbers coming from academia and industry.
The course has been very well received by the attendees. It has been specially commended for its high scientific quality and for the enthusiasm of the teachers. The course fills a gap in Swedish higher technical education.
Next time the course period is week 46 (11-15 November), 2024. Follow this link for more information and registration:
